Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 May 2026

These terms are a legal agreement between you and us. By using Stagefright.AI, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who we are

Stagefright.AI is operated by Ludo Roupell, trading as Stagefright.AI, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). Contact address: 55 Harfield Gardens, London, SE5 8DB. Contact us at hello@stagefright.ai.

2. What Stagefright.AI is

Stagefright.AI is an AI-powered public speaking coaching tool. You record a video of yourself speaking; our system analyses your delivery using Google's Gemini AI and returns a structured coaching report.

Coaching reports are AI-generated and for personal development and informational purposes only. They are not professional, medical, psychological, or career advice. We do not guarantee any particular result.

3. Eligibility and age

You must be at least 18 years old to use Stagefright.AI. By using the service you confirm that you are.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately at hello@stagefright.ai if you think someone else has accessed it. Please create only one account; we may suspend duplicates created to get around usage limits.

5. Free use and usage limits

Without an account, you may use the service for one free analysis session. After viewing your results, you will be invited to create a free account to save your report and continue.

Account holders on the free tier may carry out up to [X] sessions per rolling 30-day period (to be confirmed once our plans are finalised). Paid plans, if offered, will have limits set out at purchase. We may change limits with reasonable notice of material changes.

6. Your consent to recording

To analyse a session we process your face and voice, which is biometric (special category) data. You give explicit consent before each recording. How we handle this (including that we do not store your recording unless you save it) is in our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw consent and delete recordings at any time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • record anyone other than yourself without their clear consent;
  • use the service to process recordings of others without a lawful basis;
  • reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, or extract our AI model or its outputs at scale;
  • use bots or automated tools to create sessions in bulk or get around usage limits;
  • upload content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, or that you have no right to upload;
  • interfere with or compromise the service's infrastructure, APIs, or security.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of your recordings and reports. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your recordings only as described in our Privacy Policy. We claim no rights over your content beyond what is needed to run the service for you.

9. Our intellectual property

The Stagefright.AI name, branding, design, and software are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without our written permission.

10. AI-generated output

Reports are produced by AI and may contain errors or assessments you disagree with. Treat them as one input into your development, not a definitive evaluation.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, restrict, or withdraw features, giving reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

12. Your statutory rights as a consumer

If you are a consumer, you have rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires services to be provided with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms affects those statutory rights, and where any term conflicts with them, those rights prevail. If we introduce paid subscriptions, your cancellation and refund rights will be set out at the point of purchase.

13. Our liability to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your non-excludable statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law: we are not liable for loss that is not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses; and our total liability will not exceed the greater of (a) what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £50.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
